In 1996 Dundridge Underwriting Services LLC was incorporated in Washington, DC by W. Scott Kahle's father H. Scott Kahle, Jr. Having successfully built up and managed several nationally recognized commercial insurance agencies between 1975 and 1995; H. Scott Kahle, Jr. turned his attention to Dundridge Underwriting Services with the goal of building a new insurance agency that offered select clients with highly specialized insurance programs build to meet their unique insurance needs. |

As Dundridge Consulting builds on the same custom built client solutions model of Dundridge Underwriting Services it seemed fitting that the company share the Dundridge name as well. The original Dundridge Underwriting Services took its name from Dundridge Farm where H. Scott Kahle, Jr. spent much of his childhood. |
